Energy & Infrastructure

At the dawn of the 21st century, the energy sector, driven by the growth of global needs, remains unavoidable. Energy law is being used to regulate the field.

Our teams support investors, energy institutions and companies during all phases of project implementation, in particular during the submission of applications for administrative authorizations. With this approach in mind, and with the interests of our clients at heart, we advise them during the approval procedure of the company with the electrification department in charge of receiving your application. We follow up the process until the approval is obtained.

We also have recognized expertise in obtaining road permits for the transmission of electrical energy, as well as in negotiating and drafting concession, infrastructure financing, production, transmission and marketing contracts for electric power.

In order to secure and advance projects, we conduct audits in the context of acquisitions to identify potential risks.

Our clients can rely on our unrivalled experience, technical rigor and our comprehensive view of the workings of public institutions and authorities.

Our real estate lawyers have a solid legal background and a perfect knowledge of the regulations in force, which enables them to assist our clients (investors, entrepreneurs, real estate developers) in their real estate investment operations.

Our real estate lawyers regularly advise on various transactions in the real estate sector, including applications for concessions or building permits, in the preparation, negotiation and conclusion of their contracts.

Our perfect knowledge of the rules for obtaining permits allows us to define the best strategy to secure your interests. We draw up and follow up applications for building permits and/or authorizations. We also defend your interests before the courts in the event of a dispute.

For many years, our firm has been particularly well known for its expertise and experience in information and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

Our in-depth knowledge of the legal framework of the telecommunications sector enables us to advise national and international commercial companies, investors and private operators. In particular, we assist them in the process of allocating radio frequencies, licenses and/or operating authorizations.

We also act before the courts and regulatory bodies in the event of a dispute.

In the field of air transport, we advise and assist our clients in all administrative procedures, including applications for operating licences for domestic and international public transport services, procedures for obtaining licences for air labour services, private air services, applications for traffic rights, authorisations for importing aircraft, construction and approval of private aerodromes, applications for the granting and renewal of certificates of airworthiness, registration of aircraft, issuance of radio licences, conclusion of contracts of sale, charter and leasing of aircraft, overflight authorisations, registration of aircraft mortgages, authorisation for the construction of aircraft, precautionary seizures, air transport certificates, and related civil aviation liability litigation.

River, sea and lake transportation

We advise and assist our clients in the establishment of inland waterway, maritime and lake transport companies, in the drafting of navigability and land transport policies, as well as in the resolution of disputes between carriers and     their staff and/or clients. These skills lead us to assist and advise our clients in the negotiation of contracts for the purchase or chartering of ships, in tonnage measurement, ship registration and insurance procedures, and, if necessary, in the formalities for the constitution and registration of ship mortgages with the maritime mortgage registrar.

Land transportation

We advise and assist our clients in setting up land transport companies for people and goods, in taking out insurance policies, in obtaining the various authorizations and approvals required to carry out their activities, as well as in resolving conflicts between carriers and their staff and/or clients.

Railway

We advise and assist our clients in entering into partnerships for the financing, rehabilitation and operation of railways.

We advise, support and represent our clients in the various procedures for the performance, acquisition and sale of goods subject to public procurement law. In particular, we carry out due diligence on the obligation and compliance with public procurement laws.

We also assist our clients in the preparation of tender documents (open or restricted), as well as those intended to be concluded by mutual agreement in accordance with the provisions of the laws in force. We also follow the required procedures from the submission of tenders to the award of contracts and, if necessary, the related procurement disputes.
