Non-governmental organization

Since the inception of the firm, advice and assistance to non-profit organisations, national and international non-governmental organisations and public utility institutions have been an essential part of our activities.

With their unique and historical experience, the lawyers in the “Non-Governmental Organisations” department have a perfect knowledge of this sector, which allows them to be very responsive to clients.

More specifically, we are involved in all stages of the implementation process: setting up local or national NGOs and/or obtaining authorization for international NGOs to carry out activities in the DRC, followed by obtaining a positive opinion from the supervising minister, concluding the framework agreement with the DRC government through the Ministry of Planning, obtaining an Inter-ministerial Decree combining the Ministers of Planning and Finance, and obtaining the approval of the local administrative authority,  setting up and providing full support for reorganization, restructuring and development strategies, management of the relationship between employers, employees and volunteers, relations with local authorities, the State and administrations, drafting of contracts adapted to the characteristics of non-profit organizations, management of internal conflicts and specific legal disputes, management of tax, administrative and social disputes, dissolution and amicable liquidation.
